MW Clearing & Grading, Inc. was established in 1977 by owner Richard D. "Dickie" Moorhead and continues to thrive under his direction.  Through hard work and an appreciation for quick job turnaround, the company has grown from a small one-man show in Blacksburg, South Carolina to one of largest clearing contractors in the Southeast.   We credit our safety programs, communications, new technology, and skilled/experienced employees as key factors to the growth we had in South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee and Virginia.  The growth of MW Clearing & Grading, Inc. is a direct result of our success in expanding to offer our customers a total site development package.  MW Clearing's staff has combined experience in the following areas: commercial site, residential subdivisions, golf course developments, reservoir and dam reconstruction, public highways, and Army Corp of Engineer projects. 

MW Clearing & Grading, Inc. has an Unlimited Contractors License in North and South Carolina for General Contracting, Highway, Grading, Public Water/Sewer and Building.   We are fully insured and bonded as required.
